ROCHESTER, Minn. – A weekend break-in at a local school building continues to be investigated by authorities.
According to Rochester Police the incident happened sometime Saturday morning and that the suspects broke into Gage East School by breaking a window. At first, law enforcement believed there was no real damage but rather a mess made by the suspects. Now, however, Captain of Investigations John Sherwin says there is around $50,000 worth in damage.
Police say there are no suspects at this time. The Rochester School Board will be discussing selling the school during their meeting Tuesday night.
